Loreta Bandiera

Hello! I am Loreta De Zuniga-Bandiera MSW,LSW, OIFP II (she/her) I am a licensed Social Worker. I received my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education at Pacific Oaks University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. I began my career in teaching in schools, and have experience working with parents to advocate for their children’s mental health in school. I specialize in working with children, teens and families with complex trauma. I am certified as a Child and Family Practitioner in the state of Ohio. I have experience working with children as young as 3 years old who have experienced trauma. It is never too early to begin talking about mental health with children. I also work with teens struggling with depression, self-harm, and eating disorders. I am a LGBTQ+ Ally, and have experience guiding children through their journey of gender identity. I use a play-based client centered approach tailored to each individual or family. I take a non-conventional laid-back approach to therapy, using Art, and Yoga in my sessions to improve symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, and PTSD. I practice EMDR both in person and via telehealth. I am taking children, and teens who could benefit from this therapeutic approach. I also offer psychotherapy services in Spanish.
