What's your experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)?
I have attended several professional development trainings including CBT.
Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
Began as an elementary school teacher, continued my education to become a counselor to assist children & families with issues both in & outside the classroom.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I offer a free 15 minute preview to beginning therapy together to assess whether we will work well together. I am friendly and easy to speak to specializing with youth & families.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I have worked with youth & families for 30+ years in a variety of settings. Let’s work together to bring health and wellness to you and your family.
What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
In my office you will experience a variety of play and expressive therapy tools. It’s a pleasant, comfortable and creative atmosphere.
