Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
From mentor to coach to teacher to mom to counselor, my passion has always been to assist youth, teens and their families through challenging times. Presently the Coordinator of a Youth Service Bureau, I bring 30+ years of experience to those who are in need of help in a variety of areas.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Relax, you will be in good hands! I will work to bring comfort and trust to the therapeutic relationship toward goals & objectives set by youth and families.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
Kindness, compassion, authenticity, optimism, patience ard empathy are core values that I bring into therapy sessions with my clients. I work together with familues as a team to empower children, teens or adults to feel strong and successful in the therapeutic work toward wellness.
