Hello! I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping people achieve better mental health. With licenses in both Florida and New York, I am fully equipped to provide top-notch care to my patients. I earned my Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from St. Thomas University in Florida and hold a board certification from American Nurses Credentialing Center. Currently, I work at Greenway Wellness, where I diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders. I offer both individual and group therapy sessions, and I’m experienced in prescribing and managing medications when needed. My approach is all about collaboration. I work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that each patient gets personalized and continuous care. I also take the time to educate patients and their families about mental health, aiming to make everyone feel involved and informed. I’m bilingual in Edo (Nigeria) and English. Treatment philosophy: My experience in diverse healthcare settings has honed my ability to deliver clinical excellence. I treat children and adults from different racial and ethnic backgrounds, aiming to combat cultural stigma and increase mental health awareness. Each individual has a unique past, present, and future. I do not believe in prescribing or treating in a "one size fits all" fashion. I value input and feedback from my patients. I am open-minded, holistic, and solution oriented. My hope is that patients leave their appointment feeling like their concerns have been heard and fully addressed, they were respected and not judged, they have a clear understanding of their treatment plan and have a more hopeful outlook for their future.

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?

I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because I am passionate about helping people achieve stability and wellness. Seeing my patients make progress, feel heard, and regain hope motivates me every day. I am committed to reducing stigma, increasing mental health awareness, and providing personalized, holistic care that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

Seeking therapy is a courageous step toward self-care and healing. It’s a space where you are heard without judgment, and where your concerns are validated. I strive to create a supportive environment that feels safe and empowering. Mental health challenges are common, and you don’t have to face them alone—therapy can help you gain clarity, resilience, and hope for the future.
