Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?

I became a therapist because I have always been passionate about understanding the human experience and helping others navigate life's challenges. From an early age, I was drawn to the power of connection, empathy, and resilience, which led me to pursue a career in psychology. Witnessing the profound impact that therapy can have on individuals' lives continues to motivate me every day. Seeing my clients grow, gain insight, and develop the skills to overcome obstacles reaffirms my commitment to this work. My dedication stems from a deep belief that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to heal and thrive, and I am honored to be a part of that journey.

For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, but I want you to know that therapy is a space for you—without judgment, pressure, or expectation. It’s a place where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, with support and guidance tailored to your needs. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin; therapy is about discovery, healing, and growth. Taking the first step can be the hardest part, but you are not alone in this journey, and seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?

People considering working with me should know that I am deeply committed to providing a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual's needs, integrating evidence-based techniques with a strong emphasis on personal growth and self-awareness. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring their unique experiences, and empowering them with the tools to navigate life’s challenges. Most importantly, I am here to listen, support, and walk alongside you on your journey to healing and well-being.
