About Lyndsey
As a LMSW, I am passionate about creating a supportive and welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about the challenges you’re facing.
I have experience helping individuals navigate substance use, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and focused on meeting you where you are. Together, we can identify your goals, build practical coping skills, and develop strategies that support meaningful change.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered as you work toward greater emotional well-being and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What's your approach to anxiety, and what does progress look like for clients?
My approach to anxiety is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own experience. I’ll provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to explore what anxiety feels like for you, how it affects your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life, and what may be contributing to it.
Together, we may identify patterns, triggers, and coping strategies that can help you feel more grounded and in control. I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and support you in developing greater self-awareness and confidence without pressuring you to move faster than feels comfortable.
Progress does not necessarily mean never feeling anxious. It may look like understanding your anxiety more clearly, responding to it with greater compassion, feeling less overwhelmed, making choices that reflect your values, and returning more easily to the activities and relationships that matter to you. We’ll define progress together based on your goals and what meaningful change looks like in your life.

What's your approach to depression, and what does progress look like for clients?
My approach to depression begins with meeting you where you are. I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing without feeling pressured to “just feel better.” Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be contributing to how you feel while also identifying your strengths and sources of support.
I use a person-centered approach along with practical strategies to help you develop healthier coping skills, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and gradually reconnect with the people, activities, and parts of yourself that matter to you.
Progress looks different for everyone. It may begin with small changes—having more energy, feeling less overwhelmed, setting boundaries, enjoying something again, or simply having more hopeful days. Over time, the goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
About Me
For people hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them, and what advice would you give?
If you’re hesitant to try therapy, I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy is a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment and without pressure.
You don’t have to be in a crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes you may simply feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or ready for something in your life to change.
My advice is to give yourself permission to take that first step. Finding the right therapist may take time, and it’s okay to ask questions and make sure you feel comfortable. Therapy is a partnership, and you deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported.
You don’t have to navigate everything alone. Sometimes one conversation can be the beginning of meaningful change.
About Me
What do sessions with you look like, and what can a new client expect?
Sessions with me are warm, supportive, and tailored to you. I understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or even intimidating, so my first priority is creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected.
During our first few sessions, I’ll take time to get to know you, understand what brought you to therapy, and learn what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
As we continue, our sessions will be collaborative and focused on your individual needs and goals. Together, we’ll explore challenges, identify patterns, build practical coping skills, and recognize your strengths. You can expect compassion, honesty, encouragement, and a judgment-free space where you can be yourself while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
About Me
How do you provide care remotely, and what makes it effective?
I provide therapy through secure, confidential video sessions, allowing you to receive support from a comfortable and convenient location. My goal is to create the same warm, personal, and supportive environment virtually that you would experience in an in-person session.
Remote therapy can be effective because it makes it easier to fit care into your daily life while still allowing us to build a strong therapeutic relationship. During sessions, we’ll talk openly about your concerns, explore patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward goals that are meaningful to you.
I strive to make each session engaging, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. Even though we may be meeting through a screen, you can expect genuine connection, compassion, and a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Approaches · Person-Centered
How does person-centered therapy work, and what do sessions look like?
Person-centered therapy is based on the belief that you know yourself and your experiences better than anyone else. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore what you’re feeling, gain clarity, and discover what feels right for you.
Sessions are relaxed, conversational, and guided by your individual needs. We may explore relationships, emotions, past experiences, current challenges, or patterns you would like to change. I’ll listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, offer support, and help you recognize your strengths and develop greater self-awareness.
There is no expectation to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable, with the goal of helping you feel more confident, empowered, and connected to the life you want to create.
