Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
After a long career in information technology, I chose to move to holistic health where my focus was working with survivors of trauma. In addition to treating clients, I began teaching bodywork at a local college where I had the privilege of working with and supporting a diverse group of students. Because of the variety of challenges students were experiencing, it pushed me to reconnect with my desire to be a therapist and I returned to school for clinical social work.
