What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
People considering working with me should know that I prioritize creating a welcoming, non-judgmental space where they feel comfortable and understood. I am dedicated to evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to meet each person’s unique needs. I use a range of therapeutic approaches, from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to Psychodynamic and Humanistic methods, to ensure that each patient’s treatment plan aligns with their personal goals and preferences. My goal is to support patients in overcoming mental health challenges so they can lead fulfilling lives, regardless of the obstacles they may face.
How do you work with clients with anxiety?
In treating anxiety, I provide personalized support, starting with an assessment to understand each client's unique experiences. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help manage anxious thoughts and incorporate Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for relaxation techniques. For clients whose anxiety involves social or relational factors, I use Interpersonal and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also offer medication management when needed, ensuring treatments are effective and well-suited to each client’s needs in a calm, non-judgmental environment.
How do you work with clients with depression?
In treating clients with depression, I use a personalized, compassionate approach. I start with a thorough assessment to tailor each treatment plan. I commonly apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address negative thought patterns and Motivational Interviewing to support positive changes. For clients interested in exploring deeper emotional issues, I use Psychodynamic and Interpersonal Therapy. Additionally, I offer medication management when appropriate, ensuring treatments are effective and well-tolerated. My focus is on creating a supportive, collaborative space that empowers clients to progress toward improved well-being at their own pace.
How can you provide care remotely?
I can provide remote care through telehealth services, allowing patients to access mental health support from the comfort of their own space. This includes virtual sessions for therapy, medication management, and follow-up consultations, ensuring that individuals can receive personalized care without needing to visit in person. Telehealth allows for flexible scheduling and continued care, making mental health services more accessible and convenient for patients.
