Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I had a very poor experience with a therapist as an adolescent. As a result it has been my continued to goal to provide therapy in a way that my clients don’t have a similar experience. I remain motivated each day by my clients resiliency and their own motivation to improve their circumstances.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
It’s much easier to get started then you think. You can set the pace and the topics. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and supported.
