Michael Brooking

Michael Brooking is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who earned his Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University Central Texas. Michael has experience in effectively utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and he practices individual and family therapy with a primary focus on adolescent and young adult issues. He has previously worked in hospital settings with inpatient and intensive outpatient individuals, where he successfully implemented the use of DBT and CBT skills to meet the needs of his patients. He also provided services in community counseling and family therapy as a student at Texas A&M University Central Texas, where he gained many valuable skills and experience. He specializes in working with adolescents and adults to overcome issues with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders. Michael is an Army veteran and father, and finds joy in spending time with his three daughters. He has made Central Texas his home for the last 15 years and enjoys actively engaging in outdoor adventures in the local area.
