About Michael
I’m a therapist who cares deeply about meeting you where you are. My practice is a space where you can finally slow down, feel seen, and be heard without judgment. Together, we explore what’s weighing on you and find gentle, practical ways to help you feel calmer, stronger, and more like yourself. I am in-network with Aetna, CDPHP, Cigna and Evernorth, Fidelis, and MVP Health Care.
How do you work with clients with anxiety?
With anxiety, I work with you to understand what’s fueling it and help you build practical tools to manage it. Together, we create a supportive space where you can feel safe, calm, and more in control of your thoughts and emotions.
How does cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) work and how can it help?
CBT helps you notice patterns in your thoughts and behaviors and gives you practical tools to respond in healthier ways. It’s a way to feel more in control, manage stress, and build coping skills that really work for you.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Therapy is about having a safe space where you don’t have to hold everything by yourself. You don’t need to know exactly what to say, we’ll figure it out together. Many people discover it feels lighter than they expected. I’d encourage you to at least give it a try as you might find more comfort and relief than you imagined.
How do you work with clients with trauma and PTSD?
With trauma and PTSD, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can process experiences at your own pace. Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, build coping skills, and help you feel more grounded, safe, and in control of your life.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I’m here to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can share anything. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we navigate what’s going on in your life, at your own pace.
Why is trauma processing important?
Processing trauma is about giving yourself the space to heal and feel safe. It helps you release old burdens, understand your patterns, and move forward with more peace and control in your life.
What do therapy sessions with you look like?
I meet you where you are, with curiosity and care. I create a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and make sense of what’s weighing on you.
How does internal family systems (IFS) work and how can it help?
IFS helps you understand the different parts of yourself and how they interact. By connecting with these parts with curiosity and care, you can heal old wounds, reduce inner conflict, and feel more whole and in harmony with yourself.
How can you provide care remotely?
I’m able to provide care remotely through secure video sessions, so you can meet with me from wherever it is that is most comfortable for you. My goal is to make therapy feel safe, personal, and connected (even through a screen) so you still feel fully supported no matter where you are.
How does person-centered therapy work and how can it help?
Person-centered therapy focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel fully heard and understood. It helps you explore your feelings, gain clarity, and tap into your own strengths so you can grow and make changes at your own pace.
