I’m Dr. Michael Tom — Harvard- and Columbia-trained, board-certified in both Psychiatry and Community & Public Psychiatry. I’ve worked with clients who seem to have it all together on the outside but feel stressed, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. I’ve been there, and I know how exhausting it can feel to keep pushing forward without relief.
My approach is grounded in experience and compassion. I provide a supportive space to help you make sense of the stress, understand your patterns, and develop strategies that truly work for your life. I am also a contributing author to the American Psychiatric Association's practice guidelines, so I bring a broad perspective and up-to-date knowledge to every session.
