Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?

I became a therapist because I’ve always been passionate about helping others navigate their challenges and achieve a better quality of life. Early in my career, I witnessed the profound impact that mental health care can have on individuals and families. I realized that by becoming a therapist, I could play a vital role in this transformative process, providing support, understanding, and guidance to those in need. My motivation to continue in this field comes from the incredible resilience I see in my patients. Each story of growth, healing, and triumph reaffirms my belief in the power of compassionate care. I am driven by the desire to create a safe space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings, enabling them to develop coping strategies and find their paths to wellness. Moreover, the ever-evolving nature of mental health care excites me. I am motivated to learn and grow alongside my patients, continuously seeking new knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care. Witnessing my patients thrive and reclaim their joy is what inspires me to keep pushing forward, and it fuels my commitment to making a positive difference in their lives.
