About Mishel

I am a licensed practicing psychotherapist in California with 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and consultation services to adults. I believe that life’s most difficult moments are often the catalysts for our greatest growth. My mission is to provide you with a safe, inclusive, and deeply collaborative space to explore the roots of your challenges and discover a more purposeful, fulfilling way of living. I take a holistic approach to healing, focusing on the integration of mind, body, and soul. Understanding that healing is not one-size-fits-all, I draw from specialized modalities—including Jungian Psychology, Depth Psychology, and EMDR—tailoring our work to your unique goals. In treating depression, anxiety, and trauma, our sessions may incorporate dream work, creative arts, talk therapy, and exploring the neurobiology of your attachment patterns and relationships. Together, we will work at your pace to resolve internal conflicts and release limiting patterns. I have the privilege of working with individuals from all spiritual and religious backgrounds, as well as those defining their own personal paths. Experiencing hardship can be an invitation to guide you toward a deeper level of understanding and satisfaction in your career, personal relationships, and physical intimacy. If you are ready to build a stronger sense of self and move toward a life of greater fulfillment, I invite you to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation. I look forward to connecting with you and serving as a partner on your journey.

What's your approach to anxiety, and what does progress look like for clients?

My approach to anxiety is holistic, compassionate, and individualized. Rather than focusing only on managing symptoms, I work with you to understand the deeper roots of anxiety, including past experiences, attachment patterns, relationships, and internal conflicts that may be contributing to your distress. Depending on your needs, we may incorporate approaches such as Depth Psychology, Jungian Psychology, EMDR, talk therapy, and creative exploration. Progress may look like feeling more grounded and confident, understanding your emotional patterns, responding to stress with greater flexibility, and developing healthier relationships with yourself and others. My goal is to help you move beyond simply coping with anxiety toward a deeper sense of self-understanding, freedom, and fulfillment.
Approaches · Jungian

How does Jungian therapy work, and what do sessions look like?

Jungian therapy explores the deeper patterns, experiences, and inner conflicts that can influence how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. Together, we may explore your personal history, relationships, dreams, emotions, and recurring patterns to better understand parts of yourself that may be outside of your conscious awareness. The goal is to develop greater self-understanding and create meaningful, lasting change. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Depending on what feels helpful, our work may incorporate talk therapy, dream exploration, creative expression, and reflection on your relationships and life experiences. We move at your pace while creating space for deeper insight, healing, and personal growth.
