Hello, I’m Lisa Marie Mascioli, a dedicated and board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have extensive experience in providing compassionate and holistic care for patients of all ages. Whether in hospitals, community mental health centers, or outpatient settings, my goal is to make sure every patient feels understood and supported.
I earned my MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from The Ohio State University and have a strong background in nursing and psychology. I regularly prescribe and manage medications, order and explain lab tests, and work closely with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Currently, I offer outpatient care at Ruth Wellness. My role involves not only prescribing and managing medications but also making sure you fully understand your treatment plan.

How do you work with clients with anxiety?
I work with clients with anxiety by first creating a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings. We often use mindfulness techniques to help them stay grounded and present. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and challenge anxious thoughts, providing coping strategies tailored to their needs. Together, we develop a personalized plan that may include relaxation exercises, behavioral modifications, and exploring any underlying triggers. My goal is to empower clients to manage their anxiety and enhance their overall quality of life.
