Support can be hard to come by. In times of stress it can be helpful to have a space where you can process the challenges that you experience in life. The hardest part of the process in seeking therapy is in making initial contact. Having a therapist that can work collaboratively from a nonjudgmental and compassionate place. It is important for the client to feel comfortable in order to engage in a meaningful and authentic way.
With 10 years of clinical, assessment, and research experience, in addition to my lived experience as a person with multiple intersecting identities, I can utilize these experiences to help bring context to clients in our session.
Increasing the client’s capacity for self-reflection is foundational to my work and I place great emphasis on respect and transparency. Through our work together it is my hope that we can work towards growth and empowerment while gaining the skills to navigate the hardships that you face in life.
