About Oseni
I've worked with individuals across the lifespan facing schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. I’ve seen how untreated trauma and systemic inequities can affect lives, and I’ve also witnessed the strength that emerges when people receive the right care. Whether supporting medication adherence, helping de-escalate a crisis, or simply listening, I’ve learned that small actions can be life changing. I strive to be the kind of provider who partners with patients to understand their needs and support their recovery goals.

Specialties · Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD)
What's your approach to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and what does progress look like for clients?
My approach to supporting individuals with OCD begins with understanding their unique experiences, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and the impact these symptoms have on daily life. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable discussing their challenges and working collaboratively toward their goals. When appropriate, I support evidence-based treatment approaches and coordinate care to help individuals manage their symptoms and improve daily functioning. Progress may look like experiencing less distress from intrusive thoughts, gradually reducing compulsive behaviors, building healthier coping skills, and feeling more confident navigating everyday situations. I recognize that recovery is a personal journey, and I aim to support each patient with patience, compassion, and encouragement.
Approaches · Motivational Interviewing
How does motivational interviewing work, and what do sessions look like?
Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, patient-centered approach that helps individuals explore their feelings about change and identify their own reasons for moving forward. During sessions, I focus on listening without judgment, asking open-ended questions, and helping patients recognize their strengths, values, and personal goals. Together, we explore any concerns or barriers that may make change difficult and identify realistic, manageable steps toward recovery. My goal is to empower patients to feel confident in their decisions and take an active role in their care.
