I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in working with individuals navigating ADHD, autism, trauma, PTSD, and the lasting effects of difficult life experiences. My approach is insight-oriented and focuses on helping clients understand the deeper origins of their emotional struggles, relationship patterns, and self-perceptions. Together, we explore how past experiences—often rooted in family dynamics—continue to shape the present, creating opportunities for greater self-awareness, self-forgiveness, and meaningful change. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients are treated with dignity and respect, with the goal of helping them break free from cycles of self-doubt, shame, and unhappiness while building a stronger sense of self-worth and resilience.

How can you provide EMDR remotely?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be effectively provided through secure telehealth platforms using specialized online tools and techniques. During remote EMDR sessions, bilateral stimulation—the core component of EMDR—can be facilitated through visual cues on the screen, alternating sounds through headphones, or guided tapping exercises. I ensure that clients have the necessary support, grounding skills, and a comfortable environment before beginning trauma processing. Remote EMDR allows individuals to engage in this evidence-based treatment from the comfort and privacy of their own space while still experiencing the benefits of trauma reprocessing and emotional healing.
How does internal family systems (IFS) work and how can it help?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of different "parts," each with its own thoughts, feelings, and roles. Some parts may carry pain, fear, shame, or traumatic experiences, while others work hard to protect you from emotional distress. IFS helps clients develop a compassionate relationship with these parts rather than fighting against them. Through this process, individuals gain insight into their internal experiences, heal emotional wounds, reduce self-criticism, and develop greater self-awareness and self-acceptance. IFS can be particularly helpful for trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and patterns that feel difficult to change.
