What's your approach to anxiety, and what does progress look like for clients?

My approach to anxiety is compassionate, individualized, and goal-oriented. I take time to understand how anxiety affects your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life, then work collaboratively with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals. Treatment may include education, coping strategies, therapeutic techniques, and medication management when appropriate. Progress may look like feeling less overwhelmed, managing worry more effectively, improving emotional regulation, sleeping better, or feeling more confident in situations that once felt difficult. My goal is to help you develop practical tools and greater confidence so anxiety feels more manageable and does not prevent you from living the life you want.
Approaches · Motivational Interviewing

How does motivational interviewing work, and what do sessions look like?

Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that helps you explore your own reasons for change and build confidence in taking meaningful steps forward. Rather than telling you what you should do, we work together to understand what matters most to you, identify barriers, and strengthen your motivation. Sessions are conversational and focused on your goals. We may explore your thoughts, feelings, values, and current challenges while identifying practical, achievable steps toward change. My role is to listen, support, and help you discover the motivation and strengths you already have.
