My wife and I experienced our own marriage troubles early into our marriage and then over the years at times. We ourselves were lucky enough to try Imago therapy which helped us fall back in love after the very first session!

Imago therapy is all about creating emotional safety for both partners. With safety being the goal of every session, couples learn immediately how to change their interaction with each other from one that might be volatile to a calm and structured way of communicating, deepening connection and empathy. Imago therapy is very different than traditional marriage counseling you may have tried that hasn't worked for you in the past as there is no blame or shame in the structure that Imago provides.

I am an ordinary Rabbi though my marriage counseling practice is not religious based as Imago therapy is non denominational. We also have a fantastic team of other Imago clinicians licensed in other states so location need not deter you from getting the best marriage help out there.

We specialize in two day intensives marriage retreats as opposed to once a week sessions. That way a couple has the time to go deep and delve into what is at the root of their conflict, walking out of the 2 days with new hope for the future. After the 2 full days of intensive marriage counseling we include 8 followup sessions for maximum accountability and transformation.

Most of the clients we work with ultimately decide to stay together happily. We are grateful to have an excellent team with proven success in couples counseling.

I am a trained Imago Relationship therapist and that is the modality that all of my clinicians use as it is radically different than other forms of marriage counseling that often are a repeat of what the couple is doing at home. Imago works as the identified patient is not the husband or the wife, rather the relationship space that has become polluted with heaps of negativity. When we can work to eliminate that negativity, the pollution is cleared and the couple can have a real relationship again.

I personally am Jewish and have traditional biblical values. My clinicians come from all different faiths and religion is not part of the couples work unless specifically requested.
