 It was a dream since I was 12. I have worked in the community, residential and outpatient. My life long passion is to help my clients feel seen.

Therapy is difficult when you express your vulnerable thoughts, emotions, and concerns to a stranger you are only meeting with 1-4 times a month; however the bright side is you are able to express these feelings and not worry about it being shared with family or friends who may exploit your feelings with others though gossip, drama, and misunderstandings. By HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) Therapists are bound to keep your information confidential. The only time this act is voided, is if you sign a release of information to coordinate with a specific person or provider for coordination of care or you are a danger to yourself or others.
