How do you work with clients with depression?
I work with clients experiencing depression by first taking time to understand their symptoms, history, daily functioning, stressors, and treatment goals. My approach is accepting, personable, and judgment-free, so clients can feel comfortable discussing what they are going through. I use research-driven psychiatric care to create a personalized treatment plan focused on effective symptom management, emotional stability, and improved quality of life. When medication is appropriate, I prescribe non-controlled medications and provide ongoing follow-up to monitor progress and adjust care as needed.
How do you work with clients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)?
I work with clients with OCD by creating a safe, judgment-free space where they can openly discuss intrusive thoughts, compulsions, anxiety, and how these symptoms affect their life. I begin with a thorough psychiatric evaluation and use research-supported care to develop an individualized treatment plan. My focus is on effective symptom management, reducing distress, and helping clients feel more in control. When medication is part of care, I use non-controlled medication options and monitor progress closely over time.
How do you work with clients with sleep or insomnia issues?
I help clients with sleep or insomnia concerns by exploring possible causes such as stress, anxiety, depression, mood changes, lifestyle habits, or medication-related factors. I take a personalized approach to understanding each client’s sleep patterns and how poor sleep is affecting their mental health and daily life. Treatment may include supportive guidance, sleep-focused strategies, and non-controlled medication options when clinically appropriate. My goal is to help clients improve rest, restore balance, and feel more stable and functional throughout the day.
