I am a dually Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving adults of all ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and abilities. My practice as a therapist includes techniques from various modalities including Intersectional Feminist Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Brainspotting, Tholáge Neuropsychotherapy, Psychodrama, Internal Family Systems, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, in conjunction with a social justice lens. And modalities that I use with partners and couples includes the previous techniques mentioned as well as techniques from Gottman and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I am a Black and Afro-Latina queer cis woman, intersectional feminist, social justice advocate, and a proponent for sex-positivity.
