About Sharday
As an avid reader and writer, I have developed a deep passion for personal development and spirituality (Christian faith), which has led me to explore various avenues, from self-help, books to motivational speeches and I am writing a book and developing a journal with the hopes of sharing it with you soon.
Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives, witness their growth, and contribute to their well-being. The sense of fulfillment and personal satisfaction derived from helping others overcome challenges and improve their mental health serves as a powerful motivation to continue my work and make a difference in people's lives.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I will provide an outside perspective on your challenges, help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and their situation. I will also provide unbiased guidance and feedback, enable you to see things from different angles and consider alternative perspectives.
How can you provide care remotely?
My care model is hybrid. I provide both in person and virtual care.
How does christian counseling work and how can it help?
I utilize an integrative approach with faith as a strength based perspective. In my integrative approach, I combine cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and rational-emotive therapy techniques with EMDR, DBT, and motivational interviewing. My theoretical orientation is grounded in the psychodynamic approach.
