About Tammy
In 2014, Tammy earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England, and her Master of Counseling Psychology degree from Texas A&M Central Texas. Tammy progressed in her career as the Outpatient Program Manager for facilities focused on substance abuse and mental health treatment.
In 2019, Tammy took a position as the Substance Abuse Director for a Clinical and Forensic Mental Health private practice, where she focused on outpatient treatment for the Federal Bureau of Prisons Probation, Pre-trial Services, and Parole. That year she also began her journey as an adjunct professor at TAMUCT. In the following years she has taught multiple Social Work electives such as Forensic Social Work, Women's Issues in Social Work, and a Substance Abuse Seminar.
Tammy is currently focusing on her private practice, providing telehealth for substance abuse and mental health clients as well as consulting and conducting educational seminars.
