My experience has been gained through various positions in the field of nursing as a registered nurse in the occupational, long term acute care, and psychiatric/mental health before moving into the role of a health care provider. I am a committed and hardworking individual with excellent communication and prioritization skills. I believe in being proactive and I am excellent at setting and attaining work related goals.
I find joy in helping patients find their own joy in life! Let’s see what treatment can get you back on your feet and going again. We’ll work together and come up with a treatment plan that is tailored to meet your unique needs.
$200 per session
How do you work with clients with anxiety?
When working with clients experiencing anxiety, my approach is both compassionate and collaborative. I begin by creating a safe, non-judgmental space where they feel comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns. It’s important to me that clients know they are not alone, and together we explore how anxiety impacts their life, whether it manifests through worry, physical symptoms, or other ways.
Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to helping people navigate life’s challenges, particularly in mental health. Through my nursing experience in various fields—occupational health, long-term care, and psychiatric care—I realized how impactful mental health treatment can be in restoring a person’s sense of well-being. I wanted to play a more active role in guiding people through this process, helping them find their joy again and live more fulfilling lives.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I understand that the idea of starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it's new territory. What I want people to know is that therapy is a safe space where you’re not judged—it's about understanding, healing, and growth. Everyone’s journey is different, and therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about helping you discover tools and insights that can improve your quality of life.
