Hello! I'm Wandayi Solani, I have over thirteen years in health care and currently are dual certified with both Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner . My passion is to offer compassionate, patient-centered care by combining my extensive experience in family health and specialized skills in mental health. Currently, I work at Balance Point Wellness in Baltimore where I did my internship, I focus on caring for individuals with diverse mental health needs. Previously, I honed my skills in neurology and headache management at Johns Hopkins University, where I helped patients manage various headache conditions, working alongside them to develop personalized lifestyle and treatment plans. I also managed my patients mental health disorders as they often often coexist with headaches/migraines. Throughout my career, I've worked in different healthcare settings, providing a wide range of care including critical care in hospitals and specialized procedures for headache patients. I take a holistic and patient-centered approach to treating depression, blending psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and medication management when needed. I help clients explore the underlying causes of their depression, build coping mechanisms, and set achievable goals to regain motivation and improve their well-being. My telehealth services provide a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel supported on their path to healing.

I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and lifestyle modification to help clients understand and manage their anxiety. By creating a safe, supportive space, I guide clients to identify triggers, develop coping strategies, and work toward improving their daily functioning. My holistic approach also incorporates culturally sensitive care and education to empower clients in their treatment journey.

I provide care through secure, convenient telehealth sessions for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Telehealth allows me to deliver compassionate, patient-centered therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and medication management, all tailored to address clients’ unique needs from the comfort of their homes.
