About Me:
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 15+ years of experience in both physical and mental healthcare. I received a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Business and Nursing. I bring a compassionate, individualized approach to help my clients overcome their mental health concerns.
With a strong background in both psychiatry and nursing, my mission is to provide high-quality mental health care to my patients. I specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health issues using a compassionate and evidence-based approach. I am currently accepting new patients age 6+ and specialize in difficulty relaxing or sleeping, depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, autism, and many other challenges.
I offer therapeutic interventions, such as psychotherapy and counseling, and I collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for each patient. My goal is to educate patients and their families about mental health and provide them with the tools and coping strategies necessary for a healthier life.
With extensive experience across various healthcare settings, including hospice care, rehabilitation, and outpatient services, I am committed to delivering exceptional care to individuals of all ages. Whether working with low-income clients or those with complex medical needs, I approach each case with cultural competence and sensitivity.
I believe in fostering a team-oriented environment, keeping open lines of communication with physicians and other professionals, to ensure continuity and quality of care. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of my patients and look forward to supporting their journey to better mental health.
Treatment philosophy:
My treatment philosophy is centered on compassionate, patient-focused care. I believe in engaging deeply with my patients, listening to their unique stories, and understanding their needs. My approach integrates various therapeutic methods, such as cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy, ensuring every individual receives tailored support. I value collaboration, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals to provide well-rounded care. Every treatment plan is crafted with cultural sensitivity and an emphasis on education, empowering patients and their families with the needed knowledge. I integrate both therapy and medication to help restore balance and enhance their quality of life. I aim to help them become the best version of themselves.

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, combining my expertise in nursing and psychiatry to provide holistic care. I’m motivated by the resilience of my patients and their ability to overcome challenges with the right support. Seeing my patients grow, heal, and thrive is what drives me to continue this work every day.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Therapy is a safe space where you can explore your challenges, feelings, and goals without judgment. Seeking help is a courageous first step toward healing and growth. I am committed to creating a supportive and understanding environment where you feel comfortable opening up. You don’t have to face your struggles alone—therapy can provide tools, coping strategies, and the guidance you need to navigate life’s challenges.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I bring over 15 years of experience in both physical and mental healthcare, specializing in a wide range of conditions from ADHD and anxiety to PTSD and autism. My approach is compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive. I believe in fostering a safe, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and supported. I emphasize collaboration, education, and individualized care to help patients achieve their mental health goals and improve their quality of life.
How can you provide care remotely?
I offer comprehensive remote care through telehealth, ensuring accessibility for patients wherever they are. This includes thorough psychiatric assessments, medication management, and psychotherapy sessions. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care to create personalized treatment plans. By collaborating with other healthcare providers and focusing on education, I ensure my patients receive holistic, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.
