Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I went to graduate school at UCF and graduated with a masters in both Marriage and Family therapy and mental health therapy. Bringing healing to others has always been my passion. I became certified as a psychedelic integration therapist and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist when, 4 years ago, I healed myself of anxiety, deep depression, PTSD, and trauma with psychedelic medicine. Individuals today are finding instant relief (within hours and days) of their depression, anxiety, ptsd, trauma with psychedelic assisted therapy.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
It takes courage to journey inward and look at our egos/shadow self but courage doesn’t mean fearless, it means walking the path despite the fear. You are not walking the path alone. The journey inward to reconnect with your authentic self and truth is beautiful and rewarding.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I am a therapist who is committed to doing their own inner work and healing. I believe that in order to be an effective clinician, healer, therapist one needs to be actively doing their own inner healing work.
