Are you finding it difficult to form or maintain meaningful relationships? Struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, or feeling like you're not “enough” no matter how much you achieve? Perhaps you appear successful on the outside, but inside, you're overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply not feeling like yourself. You’re not alone and you don’t have to navigate this alone either. You may have tried to manage things on your own, ignoring the signs, pushing through, hoping things will get better. But if you're reading this, something inside you knows it's time for a different approach. Therapy can be that turning point. Together, we’ll work to understand what's beneath the surface and begin to build a more empowered, fulfilling life. As an immigrant from Central America, I deeply understand the cultural pressures, generational expectations, and identity struggles that can weigh heavily on us. I also know the courage it takes, especially in communities where therapy is often stigmatized to ask for help. There is nothing weak about seeking support. In fact, it’s one of the bravest things you can do for yourself. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where your lived experiences are acknowledged and honored. My trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach ensures that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Your story is unique, and the healing process should reflect that. I work with adults navigating: Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm Relationship and attachment challenges Grief, loss, and life transitions First-generation identity struggles and intergenerational trauma Immigration-related stress and cultural adjustment Burnout, perfectionism, and low self-worth, even in high-achieving individuals The emotional impact of racism and systemic oppression on BIPOC communities Whether you're seeking clarity, connection, or peace of mind, we’ll co-create a path that aligns with your values and goals.

Hi there, I am so glad you're here. I understand how daunting it can be to take steps towards healing. Perhaps you feel misunderstood by the people around you. Or perhaps you are accustomed to confronting problems on your own, without the help of others. Whatever you might be facing, I want to assure you that you are not alone. I am honored to walk alongside you as you step outside of your comfort zone to embark on your journey to growth and self-discovery. I offer warm and collaborative therapy to individuals and couples who are seeking to work through past traumas, difficult emotions, communication, and challenges with identity. My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a space where you are able to be your authentic self and explore the nooks and crannies of your internal world. If you are seeking a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your inner world, I will be there to hold and support every part of you as we put the pieces together. As your therapist, I can help you re-discover and make peace with the parts of yourself that were overlooked and perhaps pushed away due to past traumas or challenges with self-identity. In working together, you can begin to redefine yourself in ways that feel empowering, authentic, and aligned. Whatever it may be, you are not alone in your journey. I believe therapy begins with curiosity—about who you are, where you come from, and early life experiences that have shaped the way you move through the world. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I view therapy through a culturally-responsive, attachment-based lens, recognizing that our past can help us better understand–not define–our present. I work collaboratively with clients to explore how early experiences and cultural influences may continue to show up in their relationships, communication, boundaries, and sense of self. As an Asian American clinician, I recognize the unique challenges many clients face when navigating cultural expectations, family obligations, acculturation experiences, and conversations surrounding mental health within their communities. I aim to provide a compassionate and culturally attuned therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. My approach is grounded in attachment-based therapy and integrates evidence-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully and collaboratively, tailoring our work to your unique experiences, relationships, and goals for growth. I work with adults, couples and adolescents. Whether you are looking to address trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity issues, life transitions, or patterns that no longer serve you, my goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships so that you can move toward greater connection, authenticity, and emotional security. When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll often find me spending time with family, reading a good book, trying my hand at a new recipe, watching movies, or making the most of the beautiful San Diego sunshine.
