My healthcare career started in 2012 working in addiction medicine which I quickly grew to love. This morphed into psychiatry which I now practice (and also love) full time. I enjoy working with all shapes and sizes of people aged 14 and older including (and especially) the LGBTQ+ population. I have an additional certification in perinatal care and love working with pre-moms, moms-to-be and post-moms! My other special interest is the treatment of OCD. I see many, many patients struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders like bipolar and everything in between (ADHD included). In general, I am a solution-focused provider. This means I am a bitand to the point. Lets find the problem and fix it. I am also a bit on the med conservative side. Lets get you living your best life on the least amount of medications- this can be 0, this can be 5. Everyone is unique in their own way.

Everybody gets stressed or overwhelmed from time to time. I am here to help. I am open to working with all sorts of people including various sexual orientations, ethnicities and races. I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor, with seven years of experience. I have specialized training in trauma and I have my CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional). I have studied EMDR and I am internal family systems informed; and have also studied DBT, ACT, CBT, MI, and the Strengthening Families Program. I treat trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, chronic pain, and many other things. I am trained in CAMS and DBT, which are the two evidence-based treatments for suicide.
