Hi, I'm Shirley Chapman, a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who is passionate about guiding individuals and couples on their journey toward emotional healing and reconnection. I am a trauma nurse and therapist with years of lived experiences, years of academic work, and specialized training in empirically researched therapeutic models. Some of my favorites are Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as integrating other models when appropriate to fit individual needs. My passion is to help survivors of trauma, challenging life experiences and grief events become unstuck and break the cycle of emotional pain. Often these problematic situations from the past have led to an inability to move forward in life, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
