Hello! I'm David J. Greene, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), based in Edison, NJ. I've dedicated my career to helping children, families, and individuals overcome various challenges. My journey has taken me through several enriching roles. At Recovery Centers of America, I work closely with clients to help them set and achieve their treatment goals. My role involves individual therapy sessions, group sessions, and working with families to support their loved ones' recovery. Previously, at Family First Counseling Services, I provided intensive in-home counseling, helping families navigate crises and teaching valuable skills for emotional regulation and trauma recovery. During my tenure at Lawn Ridge Youth Consulting Services, I supported young adults dealing with everything from autism to schizophrenia and other mental health issues. My experience is comprehensive, including roles as a substance abuse counselor and various internships where I honed my skills in psychoeducation and therapy. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Touro College and a Master’s in Education and Human Development from George Washington University. My background in education has also given me unique insights into the developmental needs of children and adolescents. I’m passionate about helping others realize their potential and leading healthier, happier lives. Compassionate, motivated, and experienced, I'm here to support you on your journey to well-being. Mental health care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of location or circumstance. Through TeleHealth, we offer flexible, high-quality care that removes barriers to treatment, ensuring support is available whenever and wherever it’s needed most. We honor the diversity of our clients by providing culturally sensitive care that respects and incorporates each individual’s cultural, social, and linguistic needs. Our goal is to create an inclusive space where everyone feels understood and supported. I believe that knowledge is power. By educating clients about their mental health conditions and treatment options, we empower them to make informed decisions, take control of their mental health journey, and foster long-term wellness.
