What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I like to think of myself as authentic, non-judgmental and laid back. I may even go as far to say funny, but my kids would probably disagree. I make mistakes, have my own anxieties and struggle like everyone else. But that's what makes me real, and that's what I bring to the therapeutic relationship. Realness. I don't believe that therapy has to be rigid, uptight and boring. Humor has a very important role and swearing is most definitely therapeutic. The therapeutic foundation is based on the relationship between client and therapist. It's my favorite part about what I do - building trust and having the privilege to walk this journey with you. It is an absolute honor to work with people and be entrusted to listen to their story. But I don't want to fool you or sugarcoat this process. Therapy is hard work. I'll ask you to be open, honest and vulnerable. I'll ask you to trust the process. My hope is you'll feel the safety of the judgement free zone and be youself - your true self. I'm not here to give you advice or tell you what you're doing wrong. I'm here to help guide and support you. I work to empower my clients, striving to bring awareness and positivity to their daily lives. I want you to see the glass half full - which is achievable with therapy.
