Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal from past hurts, and find meaning and fulfillment. Witnessing the strength and resilience people show in their journeys motivates me to continue this work. I find fulfillment in providing a supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions, gain self-awareness, and develop coping skills. The transformative power of therapy—to foster growth, build resilience, and empower individuals—continues to inspire and drive my commitment to this field every day.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
For people who are hesitant to try therapy, I wish I could tell them that taking the step to seek help is a sign of strength, not a sign of weakness. Therapy is a safe space where you can explore your feelings, gain new insights, and learn practical strategies to manage life’s challenges. It’s a process of self-discovery and growth, and you don’t have to have everything figured out to start. I’m here to support you, listen without judgment, and help you find the path that works best for you.

Therapy sessions with me are collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your individual needs. We begin with an in-depth assessment, set clear goals, and use a variety of therapeutic techniques such as DBT, ACT, and IFS to address your concerns. I emphasize mindfulness, self-reflection, and skill-building, and adapt sessions as needed to ensure effective support and progress towards your goals.
How do you work with clients with trauma and PTSD?
When working with clients dealing with trauma and PTSD, I use a trauma-informed approach that integrates techniques like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness. We focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop coping skills, and build resilience. My goal is to help clients process their trauma, reduce symptoms, and empower them to move forward in their healing journey.
How do you work with clients with depression?
When working with clients with depression, I use a compassionate, evidence-based approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and other therapeutic techniques to help clients explore their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. We focus on setting realistic goals, developing healthy coping strategies, and building self-awareness to address the underlying causes of depression and promote lasting well-being.
