About Andressa

I'm Andressa Little, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas, providing virtual therapy for teens and adults. My clinical experience includes inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, and private practice. I help people navigate anxiety, overthinking, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My approach is relational and trauma-informed, drawing from attachment theory, CBT, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand their patterns, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood without judgment and supported in exploring what isn't working. Together, we can move beyond simply understanding your struggles toward developing practical tools, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self. I'm also bilingual in English and Portuguese and offer therapy in Portuguese to support Portuguese-speaking clients who want to explore their experiences in their preferred language. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in navigating your life and relationships.
Approaches · Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)

How does acceptance and commitment (ACT) work, and what do sessions look like?

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on what matters most to you. In sessions, we may explore your values, identify patterns that keep you feeling stuck, and practice skills to help you respond to challenges with greater flexibility. My goal is to help you build emotional resilience, take meaningful steps toward your goals, and create a life that feels more connected to your values.
Specialties · ADHD

What's your approach to ADHD, and what does progress look like for clients?

My approach focuses on understanding how ADHD may affect your emotions, relationships, daily routines, and overall well-being. Together, we can explore patterns that contribute to feeling overwhelmed and develop practical strategies to improve emotional regulation, organization, and self-understanding. Progress may look like feeling more confident, managing daily challenges with greater ease, strengthening relationships, and developing a more compassionate understanding of yourself.
