Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?

I became a therapist because I believe in the power of human connection and the transformative impact of feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. Life can be overwhelming, and I wanted to create a space where people feel safe to explore their struggles, build resilience, and regain a sense of control. What motivates me to continue is witnessing the growth and healing of my clients—seeing them develop self-compassion, confidence, and the tools to navigate life’s challenges. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a reminder of why this work matters.

For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?

I wish I could tell them that therapy isn’t about being "broken" or having all the answers—it’s about having a space where you can be yourself without judgment. It’s okay to be unsure, to not know where to start, or to feel nervous. Therapy is a conversation, not a test. You don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone, and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. You deserve a space to heal, grow, and gain tools that make life feel more manageable. Your feelings and experiences matter, and you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself.

What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?

People considering working with me should know that I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where they can be themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth—I believe in balancing self-compassion with growth. I tailor each session to individual needs, integrating evidence-based techniques with genuine connection. I’ll support you, challenge you when needed, and provide practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. Most importantly, I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered on your journey toward healing and growth.

What do therapy sessions with you look like?

Therapy sessions with me are warm, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I create a safe, judgment-free space where we explore your challenges, goals, and emotions. Sessions may involve open conversation, practical tools, and deeper reflection, depending on what you need that day. I’ll support and challenge you with kindness, helping you build self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change in your life.

How do you work with clients with trauma and PTSD?

I work with clients experiencing trauma and PTSD by creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where they can process their experiences at their own pace. Using trauma-informed approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and narrative therapy, I help clients identify triggers, regulate emotions, and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. I also incorporate grounding techniques and mindfulness to manage distress and build a sense of safety. My goal is to empower clients with tools to heal, regain control, and move forward with greater resilience and self-compassion.

How do you work with clients with depression?

I work with clients experiencing depression by providing a compassionate, non-judgmental space where they feel heard and supported. Using evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness, we explore thought patterns, build coping strategies, and develop healthier ways to navigate emotions. I focus on helping clients regain motivation, build self-compassion, and reconnect with what brings them meaning and joy. My goal is to empower clients with the tools and support they need to manage their symptoms and create a life that feels more fulfilling and authentic.

How do you work with clients with anxiety?

I help clients with anxiety by providing a supportive, non-judgmental space and using evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. Together, we identify triggers, challenge negative thinking, and develop coping strategies to build resilience and confidence. My goal is to help you manage anxiety effectively and regain control over your life.

How can you provide care remotely?

I provide care remotely through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and confidential space for therapy sessions. Virtual sessions allow you to receive support from the comfort of your home, making therapy more accessible and convenient. Whether through video calls or phone sessions, I offer the same level of warmth, support, and personalized care as in-person therapy. Remote care also allows for flexibility, making it easier to fit sessions into your schedule while still receiving the guidance and tools you need to navigate life’s challenges.
