Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
Through personal experiences as an adolescent, I had the benefit of seeing a therapist, and I knew immediately in that moment that I wanted to be sitting on the other side someday. I wanted to help instill hope, provide encouragement and validation, and offer assistance in developing increased understanding and solutions with others - just as that therapist did for me that day.
