Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
My first experience with therapy was as a queer highschooler and my therapist happened to be a gay man. I was so affected by the representation and understanding he showed me. I want to be able to provide that for others who may be struggling with their sexuality or gender identity.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Deciding to be vulnerable with a therapist can be very scary. But the benefits can be life-changing. You deserve to give it a shot!
