I see the process of being in therapy is like learning a new language. The more we practice, the more fluent we become. Once we've become fluent in the language, we then seek out people who can speak the same language. I see mental health and relationship from a similar lens. Once we are able to practice self-attunement and care for ourselves, we seek out people who are able to respect and care for us in the way that we respect and care for ourselves.

In therapy sessions, I primarily utilize Attachment-Focused EMDR and talk therapy, Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and various interventions from Dialectical and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
