Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I have always been passionate about helping others navigate the complexities of life and find their inner strength. Witnessing the transformative power of a safe, supportive space where people feel heard and valued inspires me deeply. What motivates me to continue is the resilience and courage I see in my clients every day—their willingness to face challenges, grow, and embrace positive change. It’s an honor to walk alongside them in their journey toward healing and empowerment, and their progress serves as a constant reminder of why I chose this path.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I wish I could tell them that therapy isn’t about having all the answers or being “broken.” It’s about having a safe space where you can be yourself without judgment and work through life’s challenges at your own pace. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but therapy is a partnership—it's not about fixing you, but helping you uncover your strengths, gain clarity, and navigate difficulties with support. You don’t have to face everything alone, and seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness. It’s okay to feel hesitant, but sometimes the smallest step can lead to the biggest change.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
People considering working with me should know that I am deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where they can feel heard and understood. My approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered, focusing on building trust and tailoring each session to their unique needs. I believe in empowering clients to uncover their strengths, develop practical tools, and navigate challenges with confidence. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful growth and lasting change.
What do therapy sessions with you look like?
Therapy sessions with me are compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and emotions, set meaningful goals, and work toward positive change. Using evidence-based techniques like CBT and mindfulness, I’ll help you develop practical tools and insights to navigate challenges. Our sessions will move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.
How do you work with clients with trauma and PTSD?
When working with clients with trauma and PTSD, I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where they feel secure and supported. I use trauma-informed care to ensure sensitivity to their experiences, focusing on building trust and safety. Techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness help clients process traumatic memories, manage triggers, and reduce symptoms. I also teach emotional regulation skills to foster stability and resilience. Together, we work at a pace that feels comfortable, empowering clients to heal from their experiences and regain a sense of control and peace in their lives.
How do you work with clients with depression?
When working with clients with depression, I provide a compassionate, supportive space where they can openly express their feelings and challenges. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift negative thought patterns, mindfulness to promote self-awareness and emotional balance, and a strength-based approach to build resilience and self-esteem. Together, we focus on setting small, achievable goals, fostering hope, and developing practical strategies to navigate daily life. My goal is to help clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to reclaim a sense of purpose and well-being.
How do you work with clients with anxiety?
I work with clients with anxiety by creating a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore their experiences. Using evidence-based techniques like CBT, mindfulness, and emotional regulation strategies, I help them identify unhelpful patterns, manage stress, and build resilience. My approach is tailored to their unique needs, empowering them to face anxiety with confidence and control.
How can you provide care remotely?
I provide care remotely through secure and confidential telehealth platforms, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your home. Remote sessions are just as effective as in-person therapy, offering a safe space to connect, explore your concerns, and work on your goals. We’ll use video or phone sessions to ensure open communication and collaboration, and I’ll tailor each session to meet your needs. Remote care also offers flexibility, making it easier to fit therapy into your schedule, no matter where you are.
