About Jonas
I am a veteran, proud father of two, emergency nurse, and board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing mental health services with a focus on postpartum mothers, healthcare workers, & veterans.
I take an integrative approach, focusing on all of the lifestyle factors that play a role in one's mental health — diet, movement, sleep, caffeine intake, and associated medical problems.
I prefer an outcome-focused approach. I believe we are all capable of achieving remarkable things; I choose to focus on the goals of my patients— who they want to become— rather than dwelling on problems.
If you’re a new mother facing postpartum depression or anxiety, a veteran adjusting to life after service, a healthcare provider feeling burnt out, or anyone simply needing support, please reach out. We can work together to understand what you’re going through and get you the help you deserve.

What's your approach to anxiety, and what does progress look like for clients?
My approach to anxiety is integrative and focused on understanding the lifestyle and medical factors that may influence your mental health, including sleep, nutrition, physical activity, caffeine intake, and overall health. Together, we will identify your goals, develop practical coping strategies, and explore treatment options that support your individual needs. Progress may look like improved emotional balance, better stress management, increased confidence, healthier daily habits, and feeling more in control of your life.

How does solution focused brief therapy (SFBT) work, and what do sessions look like?
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy focuses on identifying your strengths, setting meaningful goals, and finding practical solutions to the challenges you're facing. During sessions, we will explore what you want to achieve, recognize what's already working, and identify small, achievable steps toward positive change. My approach is collaborative and outcome-focused, helping you build confidence and make progress toward becoming the person you want to be.
