Hi! I am Marcie Beroske, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the owner of Wildwood Behavioral Health. Wildwood Behavioral Health is a private practice dedicated to addressing the unique mental health needs of young adults. We understand that this stage of life comes with its own set of challenges, and our goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that supports our patients in navigating these experiences. As both the owner and prescriber, I am committed to creating a welcoming environment where young adults feel heard and supported. Through medication management and community support (if needed), I collaborate with each patient’s individual therapist to maximize mental health goals.

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?

I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to help young adults navigate the complexities of life with compassionate care. Seeing positive transformations in my patients is what motivates me to continue this rewarding work.

For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?

I would tell them that therapy and medication management are valuable tools that can improve quality of life. It’s normal to feel unsure, but taking the first step can lead to greater emotional well-being and self-awareness.

How can you provide care remotely?

I provide remote care through telehealth, offering medication management and collaborating with your therapist to ensure comprehensive mental health support. This allows flexibility and comfort, making it easier for young adults to receive care from wherever they are.
