Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist to help people learn how to heal from the inside out. Many enter therapy trying to unpack their childhood experiences. My motivation is to help clients learn how to communicate more effectively.
What's your experience with relationship counseling?
At Journey From Within, our specialty is helping couples learn how to thrive in their relationship and not merely survive. Our objective is to help decrease the divorce rate one family at a time. However, when couples learn effective ways of communicating their needs, it creates an environment where individuals are more interested in understanding than being understood.
