Hello! I'm Wayne, a dedicated licensed mental health professional with a rich background in individual therapy and group counseling. My passion lies in helping people navigate life's challenges through tailored treatment plans and supportive interventions. With a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice.
In my current role, I manage a full caseload, providing personalized therapy to each client. In practice, this covers a broad range of topics for the focus of treatment, from anger management and emotion regulation skills development to LGBTQ-affirmative therapy.
My experience extends to specialized areas such as addiction issues, trauma counseling, motivational interviewing, and empowerment counseling. I've worked extensively with diverse communities in various settings, advocating not only for improved access to mental health care but also for more culturally competent and culturally responsive services.
Outside of direct counseling, I've contributed to research that explores the impact of race on teacher-student relationships and have engaged in community outreach efforts. Committed to continuous learning, I've also completed certifications in addressing unconscious bias and understanding the mental health impacts of domestic violence
I take pride in my ability to create a safe and understanding environment for clients. Whether you're dealing with interpersonal problems, emotion regulation difficulties, or a challenging transition, I'm happy to help you start or continue your journey to wellness.
In order to make therapy accessible to as many people as possible, I operate via telehealth only. Please reach out to schedule a virtual appointment.
