Therapists in Santa Monica, CA

"The purpose of life is to discover our own inherent nobility and to help others discover theirs." – Abdu'l-Bahá. My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own experience of managing mental health from a young age. This personal journey highlighted the profound power of therapy and inspired me to help others achieve similar transformations. Therapy, to me, is more than a profession—it’s my calling. Every step I take alongside my clients reaffirms the transformative power of hope, healing, and the therapeutic relationships. I have extensive experience and training in treating depression, anxiety disorders, other mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions. Healing isn’t about avoiding pain; it’s about feeling safe enough to face it, embrace it, and grow from it. Much like a rose blooms despite the thorns, I believe in your ability to rise through challenges and thrive. Together, we’ll create a supportive space where you can explore, build resilience, and move confidently toward the life you envision.

I have a passion for helping people who have educational and relational challenges due to ADHD & neurodivergence. I can help you if you are struggling in a relationship due to infidelity or divorce or just can't find the relationship you know you need. Many people who come to me are experiencing anxiety, depression, are unsure about how to help themself with stress or procrastination, feelings of instability during a life transition. Therapy is a wonderful opportunity for support, to grow insight, and make change. It's scary when you don't know why things aren't going your way. I have helped people understand their behaviors, feelings, and brain chemistry so they can be happier. We will focus on strengthening your mental well-being and helping you be true to yourself and the people you love. I do individual and couple's therapy.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia and California. I am also the Founder and CEO of Calibrated Wellness LLC— a practice that aspires to create hope, highlights resiliency, and guides healing that leads to calibration. With over 15 years of mental health experience I have served in various environments to include but not limited to an intensive In-Patient Program, Hospital Emergency Unit, Military Focused Programs and Private Practices. I often work with people working through Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Grief & Loss, OCD, Dysfunctional Relationships, Dual Diagnosis and other Serious Mental Illnesses. As a culturally responsive, trauma-informed psychotherapist, my priority is to partner with people who may need assistance in their process to reconnect with their inner wisdom, stabilize, restore emotional balance, and move forward with clarity and confidence!
