Hi there; welcome! Let’s see if we might be a good team to support your wellness, together. Reach out for a consultation; I am happy to listen and discuss the possibilities of what healing and change can look like for you. My practice style utilizes a strengths-based, holistic, and person-centered approach to evoke the power of self, change, and healing. I strive to cultivate a safe, judgment free space where you can explore your needs for wellness and build the skills and strategies that will help you to succeed.  My goal is to act as a guide and partner. My investment in the development of strong therapeutic relationships helps me to provide tailored and responsive care to those I support. I am passionate about my work as a therapist and understand how vulnerable it can feel to take this step to initiate support. Who I work with:   Anyone seeking healing, change, symptom relief, and or support with prioritizing their wellness.  People navigating the transition of fully coming into adulthood and themselves in their 20’s and 30’s.  People cultivating and seeking acceptance for their sexual and gender identities.  Teens feeling lost and in need of a safe space for processing and building skills to cope.  I have experience working for a youth based intensive outpatient program (IOP) and welcome referrals for youth, adults, and families transitioning from higher level care programs.   Top modalities: DBT, CBT, MBCT, SFBT, insight therapy, strengths based, person centered, solution focused, social emotional psychoeducation

Hello, I'm Khalil Sandoval, and I am deeply committed to making mental health care both compassionate and accessible. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I focus on addressing the mind, body, and spirit with a comprehensive approach. My goal is to support each person in seeking mental health care as comfortably and confidently as they would look after their physical health. With a rich background in mental health, I am dedicated to designing care plans that truly align with each individual's unique needs. Creating a space where every patient feels safe, respected, and valued is important to me. I'm eager to work alongside patients who share a passion for embracing new ideas and improving mental health care. Together, let's nurture the well-being and growth of our community, one person at a time. TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY: I'm dedicated to creating a warm and understanding environment for my patients. Every person’s journey is unique, and I believe in the power of personal storytelling to promote healing. I strive to ensure that each patient feels seen, heard, and valued. My approach integrates mental health care with compassion, focusing on both the mind and body. I actively engage with each individual, providing tailored treatment that respects their personal choices and experiences. My goal is to destigmatize mental health challenges and enhance well-being for everyone, particularly the underserved. Together, we can embark on a transformative journey towards better mental health.

“A span of life is nothing. But the man who lives that span, he is something. He can fill that tiny span with meaning, so its quality is immeasurable though its quantity may be insignificant.” – Chaim Potok, The Chosen “Every time we ask a question, we’re generating a possible version of a life.” – David Epston  Hi! I’m Jaime, and I’m honored to make your acquaintance. I am currently a graduate student in the Master of Arts Marriage and Family Therapy Program at National University. I am working under the supervision of Rosa Montoya, LMFT#115495. I have experience working with school-aged children in academic settings as an instructional assistant for special education. Additionally, as an MFT trainee, I have had the privilege of collaborating with children and teens who have experienced bullying and abuse to explore preferred identities. I also have a variety of lived experiences that have expanded my ability to question my assumptions, listen empathetically, and be curious. My life has been one in search for meaning. When I was younger, I thought that meaning came from the answers to life’s difficult questions like “What does my suffering say about me?”, “Who am I?”, and “How do I make a difference?” – and I searched for answers in many contexts, including spirituality, creative writing, art, music, and literature. My personal search for meaning and answers led me to volunteer for disaster relief in the aftermath of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami; while I was in Japan, I encountered what it was like to live in another culture and respect and value other ways of being. Since that experience, I have found that questions – not answers – hold a universe of possibilities and allow meaning to grow, change, and become with me. As a narrative therapist-in-training, I am passionate about exploring with you all the rich possibilities of becoming. I see life as a journey whose paths, detours, fellow travelers, luggage, and destinations are yours to choose, define, and relate to in ways that reflect your values and the meaning you wish to create. I hope to collaborate with you in questioning constrained descriptions of life to create more space for you to reauthor, explore, and discover new possibilities of being and becoming. It would be my honor to join with you in elevating and privileging your voice, experiences, knowledge, preferred meaning, and values in our conversations together. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to joining with you on your journey!
