My practice as a therapist includes techniques from various modalities including Intersectional Feminist Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Brainspotting, Tholáge Neuropsychotherapy, Psychodrama, Internal Family Systems, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, in conjunction with a social justice lens. And modalities that I use with partners and couples includes the previous techniques mentioned as well as techniques from Gottman and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I am a Black and Afro-Latina queer cis woman, intersectional feminist, social justice advocate, and a proponent for sex-positivity.

I am a female therapist that treats clients ages 13 and up. I have a passion for working with clients that are adjusting due to life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, and relationship struggles. Additionally I work with couples and families as well to create healthy relationships. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to any prospective client because I want my clients to feel I am a good match for them and if I am not, I am happy to make referrals.
