I’m a Clinical Therapist at Health and Healing Therapy and I work with teens and adults 18 – 30 years old who are working through various wanted and unwanted transitions, changes, and challenges of life. I am grateful for the opportunity to help assist and support people as they are going through some of the most painful, unknown, and difficult times of their lives.

I’m a Clinical Therapist at Health and Healing Therapy. Additionally, I have been providing counseling and treatment to teens and adults who struggle with substance abuse, problem gambling, and anxiety and depression for the past 14 years.

I help children, teens, and adults by providing a calm, compassionate, and supportive safe space where you can be open and honest while we help you develop greater self-acceptance and confidence.

My aim is to provide a philosophically sophisticated therapeutic experience that is tailored uniquely to you. Together, we can work on various concerns such as addiction, overwhelming stress, culture shock, grief, difficulty in relationships, a sense of anxiety or the exhaustion of depression. My approach is a holistic one, based on a meditative, in the moment application of REBT, DBT, and Existential Counseling to help guide you through your struggles. My strength as a therapist is the total commitment to my client’s needs and yours is the resilience to unburden yourself from the obstacles that arise in your daily life.

I work with individuals who need to process through their trauma in order to move forward in life and find themselves stuck. I initially use color therapy to show us which traumatic memories have not yet been processed, as a way to get straight to the source of what is troubling us. I work with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, body image issues, disordered eating, panic attacks, low self-esteem, decreased levels of happiness, life transitions, and issues with relationships. The overall goal is to find peace, happiness, and love within the self. This will then reflect into one's outside world. I focus on processing trauma that is being stored in the body and how this has changed the way the client sees themselves and their world. I work with the client by helping them process events, tear down old narratives that negatively affect how you live your life today, and rebuild a new narrative that allows a person to live the life they were meant to. I provide a non-judgmental environment that believes all of the knowledge to heal is within the self. I like to view myself as your stepping stone through your healing journey and I am so excited to begin this journey with you. As a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for mental health, I have spent my career providing quality patient-centered care, with competent skills in assessments and evaluation, medication management, and treatment planning. I recently passed the board examination and have earned my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (PMHNP-BC). With over 3 years of experience, I have worked in diverse healthcare settings, providing complex medical and psychiatric care. My passion for mental health has led me to behavioral health nursing, focusing on patient assessments, crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and patient education on coping skills to manage mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to connect to a broader patient population offering care that is culturally competent. I recently graduated from the PMHNP program at MSOE University, where I built a strong foundation in mental health. My goal is to become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in mental health providing high-quality, stigma-free care to individuals in need. I am particularly interested in addressing the needs of mental health in underserved communities and advocating for better access to care and services.
