You can’t change what you aren’t aware of, and it’s hard to notice what’s keeping you stuck when you’re in the middle of it. My first career was in fine art reproduction where I worked with art buyers and galleries on an international level. I had no idea that in 2015 I would change careers and become a therapist. Clients say that therapy with me feels like a simple conversation. Couples therapy is my favorite type of clients but I currently work with anyone over the age of 13 unless they are seen for family therapy. I have five kids myself and have seen the ugly side of divorce. My belief is that we are all one decision away from something better.

ADHD is my specialty!  I've been an ADHD coach for over a decade and I'm a licensed master social worker and addiction counselor.  I love helping adults discover ways of calming the chaos in their homes.  More often than not, we find that they've had ADHD this entire time and no one recognized it....until now.  Looking forward to meeting you!

Dr. Rea is a licensed psychologist in Kansas and has an office in Tonganoxie, KS. He received his PhD from the University of Kansas and has worked in the prison system until starting his private practice in late 2022.

I have over 25 years of combined clinical and administrative experience committed to helping clients learn healthy coping skills to manage the stressors of daily life and to improve their well-being. My work focuses on helping clients challenge ineffective thoughts, habits, and beliefs to move towards increased life satisfaction. I am passionate about helping those with anxiety, trauma, depression, health conditions, and life transitions move towards creating and maintaining emotional wellness. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. I strive for therapy to be a safe place for the clients I serve.
